Nancy specializes in working with men and women suffering from sexual pain.
Nancy also works with couples, families, individuals and adolescents and deals with a range of issues including bereavement, depression, anger management, and anxiety. Nancy provides a unique insight and perspective into her patient’s issues, different than other therapists without her personal experience. Nancy is able to offer a deep understanding of these women’s emotions and due to her successful recovery, can offer women hope and insight in how to cope with the overwhelming task of recovering from sexual pain conditions. Nancy offers Skype sessions to all pelvic pain patients. Nancy co-authored the book, Healing Painful Sex: A Woman's Guide to Confronting, Diagnosing and Treating Sexual Pain.
Dr. Laura Ricci, PT, DPT, WHNC

She is currently completing a two-year Nutritional Endocrinology Practitioner Training Program through the Institute of Nutritional Endocrinology.
Through her own medical challenges, including pelvic pain, cancer, adult hip dysplasia, and Lyme disease, she found a passion for functional medicine and nutrition. Laura wrote and taught the Nutrition Pre- and Post- Abdominal and Pelvic Surgery course for the IWHI, due to her extensive experience in both areas.
Laura teaches nutrition and cooking classes, leads group health coaching programs, provides grocery store tours and pantry makeovers for local clients, teaches corporate wellness programs, and also provides private, one-on-one functional nutrition and health coaching sessions both in-person and virtually all over the globe.
She strives to be a light in the darkness, offering hope for others with her personal story of love and healing. She lives with her husband in Amarillo, Texas, where she loves healthy cooking, Tai Chi, and spending time in nature.
Karen Liberi, MS, MPT, WCS
Karen has been practicing as a physical therapist since 1996 after graduating from the University of Delaware. She worked at National Rehabilitation Hospital in Washington DC treating a variety of patient populations. Participating in many continuing education courses, she developed her skills as a manual therapist focusing primarily on the spine. An opportunity arose for her to help start the physical therapy component of the Washington Continence Center in which she worked closely with a urogynecologist, urologists and colo-rectal surgeons to help their patients with a variety of pelvic floor dysfunctions. This is where her passion grew to treat women’s and men’s health patients with bladder and pelvic pain issues. Karen moved to Maine in 2003 and worked for Holistic Physical Therapy, the largest outpatient women’s health clinic in New England from 2004-2009. As her husband had a job opportunity in Adrian, MI, she and her family moved to the Midwest in 2009. She has developed Beyond Better Pelvic Rehabilitation Center in Maumee OH with continued focus on improving the health and quality of life of her patients presenting with pelvic pain, incontinence and pelvic floor dysfunction. Karen is committed to her patients and will work closely with their doctors and other health care professionals to ensure a team approach for optimal outcomes. Her work now as a sexual and life coach is integrating well into this approach to her work.
